Redwood Empire Grizzly Beast Straight Bourbon Whiskey 750ml

Redwood Empire Grizzly Beast is a bottled-in-bond straight bourbon from Redwood Empire, made by Graton Distilling in Sonoma County, California. This lot was distilled in spring 2016, aged five years on the Northern California coast and bottled in 2021 at 50% (100 proof), from 26 barrels.

The mash is 69% corn, 22% rye, 5% malted barley and 4% wheat, and it is cut only with water from the Russian River Valley. It shows raspberry, spiced walnut and brown sugar on the nose, and orange zest, salted caramel and a full, creamy texture on the palate.
