Resonance Willamette Valley Pinot Noir 2021 750ml

WS94
HARVEST NOTE: Following a relatively warm winter, the growing season started out with dry weather conditions. Early heat in May was followed by cold periods in early June. Like in 2020, a cold and wet weather at the time of the blooming period caused smaller berries and clusters. The summer 2021 was warm and dry with a heat spike at the end of June. From the end of August, the young vines started to show hydric stress, while the old vines withstood well. All our organic vineyards presented exceptional fruit quality, with small clusters. We harvested between September 9th - 23rd. In all our vineyards the fruits were ripe and very clean, with amazing color. - TASTING NOTE: A bright ruby color with an expressive nose of wild strawberry, raspberry, mulberry, rose, violet, vanilla, licorice and woody cedar. The palate reveals a harmony between the fruits (cherry, cranberry) and the tannins, present but well-balanced. The wine is persistent, finishing with a vibrant hint of minerality. - TECHNICAL DATA: GRAPES: 100% Pinot Noir - APPELLATION: Willamette Valley - ABV: 13.5% - AGING: 15 months in French oak barrels, 30% new
