Skrewball Peanut Butter Whiskey

Skrewball was created by Steven Yeng, a San Diego restaurant owner, who first mixed peanut butter flavor into whiskey for a drink on his menu. It launched as a bottled whiskey in 2018 and helped start the peanut butter whiskey craze.

It's American whiskey blended with natural peanut butter flavor and bottled at 70 proof (35%). The nose is pure roasted peanut and brown sugar; the palate is sweet and nutty, with caramel and vanilla, and the finish is smooth and dessert-like.

It's a shot for people who don't like shots, and a sweet sipper over ice. For a cinnamon kick instead, there's Fireball; for a dessert-style whisky with vanilla, try Crown Royal Vanilla.

Make a PB&J shot with equal parts Skrewball and raspberry liqueur, or stir 2oz into cold milk or chocolate milk for an easy grown-up treat.
