Suntory -196 Vodka Seltzer Variety 8-Pack 355ml

-196, said minus one-nine-six, is a vodka seltzer from Suntory Global Spirits, the company formerly known as Beam Suntory. It launched nationwide in the US in May 2025.

The name refers to the brand's Freeze Crush Infusion process: whole fruit is flash-frozen in liquid nitrogen at -196°C, crushed and infused into vodka. Each carbonated can blends premium vodka with natural flavors. It is 5.5% alcohol. This 8-pack of 355ml cans holds two each of Strawberry, Lemon, Grapefruit and Peach.

Strawberry is juicy and sun-ripe; Lemon is bright zest with a tart edge; Grapefruit is bittersweet and floral with a dry finish; and Peach is yellow peach with soft florals and a tart finish.

Against SunnyD Vodka Seltzer Variety 8-Pack, -196 is stronger at 5.5% with a wider spread of fruit; for a drier, whole-fruit vodka seltzer, choose -196.

Serve it cold over ice in a tall glass. A twist of lemon peel suits the Lemon and Grapefruit cans; a peach or strawberry slice suits the others.
