Cutwater Spirits is a San Diego distillery with a tasting room on Distribution Avenue. It distills its own spirits and cans its cocktails, and this Paloma sits in the brand's tequila canned cocktail range, where the brand now lists it simply as Tequila Paloma.

Each can blends Cutwater's own blanco tequila with house-made grapefruit soda, so it is a real-spirit cocktail, not a malt drink, and it is carbonated. It's 7% alcohol, with about 210 calories and 17 grams of sugar per can. The pack holds four 12oz (355ml) cans.

The tequila gives a light floral note and a smooth finish under the sweet, juicy grapefruit soda.
