Fabrizia Pistachio Cream Liqueur 750ml

WE90

Fabrizia is a family company in Salem, New Hampshire, started in 2009 by brothers Phil and Nick Mastroianni, and this is its take on southern Italy's crema di pistacchio. The pistachios are briefly roasted, steeped in alcohol and then blended with cream.

It pours pale green and tastes of toasted nuts, light and fairly sweet, with a faint minty tingle at the end.

Next to Baileys it is nuttier and far less chocolatey. Buy it for a pistachio martini, for pouring over gelato, or as a gift for anyone who orders pistachio everything. For a hazelnut version of the idea, try Frangelico.

Fabrizia's own serve is a Dubai Chocolate Martini. Serve it well chilled, or shake it with vodka for a simpler pistachio martini. Keep it in the fridge once opened.

More cream liqueurs are under liqueurs and cordials. Pick it up at our Brooklyn store or get same-day delivery across NYC.

Kara Newman notes it is inspired by southern Italy's crema di pistacchio. She finds it pale green, light and fairly sweet, with a toasted nut flavor and a slight minty tingle at the end, and says to serve it chilled.
