Gin Lane 1751 Victoria Pink is a London Dry gin infused with spiced bitters, in the style of a classic pink gin. It is made at Thames Distillers in Clapham, London, by eighth-generation distiller Charles Maxwell, and bottled at 40%.
The base gin uses eight botanicals, including juniper, orris, Seville orange and Sicilian lemon. The bitters add a pink colour and warm spice, not sweetness.
If you want a pink gin that is dry rather than sugary, this is a better choice than berry gins; for something sweeter and fruitier, try Koval Cranberry. For a floral pink option, compare Dorothy Parker Rose Petal.
The importer's serve is a Negroni: equal parts gin, Campari and sweet vermouth with an orange twist. It is also good with tonic and an orange slice.
The range launched in 2015. More bottles are under gin, and the rest of our liquor is a click away. Pick it up at our Brooklyn store or get same-day delivery in Brooklyn, Manhattan & Queens.
