Dos Artes Reposado Tequila 1L

Dos Artes Reposado is a 100% blue agave tequila from the Los Altos highlands of Jalisco, made at the distillery registered as NOM 1588. It is bottled at 40% in a 1-liter ceramic bottle painted by hand, so no two bottles look the same.

The name means two arts: the tequila and the bottle. As a reposado it is rested in oak for at least two months, which softens the agave and adds vanilla and caramel to notes of raw and cooked agave, citrus and a little black pepper.

Buy it as a gift that stays on the shelf once it is empty. For the same bottle unaged, choose Dos Artes Blanco; if you want a reposado for drinking rather than display, Casamigos Reposado costs less.

Sip it neat or over a large ice cube, or use it in a reposado margarita or an Oaxaca old fashioned.
