El Jimador Reposado Tequila

El Jimador Reposado is a 100% blue Weber agave tequila from Amatitán in Jalisco's Tequila Valley, Mexico, aged in oak and bottled at 40% alcohol. We carry it in 750ml and 1L sizes.

El Jimador was introduced in 1994 and is made by Brown-Forman at the Casa Herradura distillery (NOM 1119). It is naturally fermented and distilled twice, then aged two months in Casa Herradura's own charred American white oak barrels.

Expect vanilla, toasted wood, fruit and spice. Wine Enthusiast (Kara Newman) gives it 93 points for its complex aromas of wet earth, vanilla, jalapeño and campfire ash.

It is one of the best-scoring 100% agave reposados under $25, from the same distillery as Herradura Reposado.

Use it in margaritas, palomas and batched party drinks, or sip it over ice with a slice of orange.
