Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
"The 2016 Barolo Bussia offers a dark and savory bouquet with aromas of black currant and cassis with tar, smoke and licorice. There is a lot of dark spice that adds contouring and definition to the concentrated fruit found at the heart of this wine. The tannins are a bit too sharp, dense and astringent, and I'm not confident that they will ever fully integrate. Give the wine ample aging time nonetheless." |

"Rose-petal, new leather and underbrush aromas emerge from the glass. The full-bodied palate offers black cherry, licorice and clove alongside firm tannins. Drink 2023–2030." |
