Pueblo Viejo Reposado Tequila 1L

Pueblo Viejo Reposado is a 100% agave tequila from the highlands of Jalisco, Mexico, aged in oak and bottled at 40% alcohol in a 1-liter bottle.

It is made by Tequila San Matías (NOM 1103), a distillery founded in 1886 and run by owner Carmen Villarreal. The agave is cooked in brick ovens, crushed with a roller mill, fermented in open stainless tanks and distilled twice in a stainless pot still, then aged in new and used American white oak.

The profile is melon, citrus and vanilla with jalapeño and black pepper on the palate.
