Tres Agaves Reposado Tequila 750ml

Tres Agaves Reposado is a USDA certified organic, 100% agave tequila from Amatitán in the Tequila Valley of Jalisco, Mexico, bottled at 40% alcohol in a 750ml bottle.

Tres Agaves has made its tequila at its own distillery, Tequilera TAP (NOM 1614), since 2019, with master distiller Iliana Partida. The agave is cooked in an autoclave, crushed with a four-stage roller mill, fermented without the fibers and distilled twice, then aged eight to nine months in used Kentucky bourbon and Tennessee whiskey barrels.

Tres Agaves describes baked tropical fruit with a hint of oak and char. Wine Enthusiast (Kara Newman) gives it 93 points and the Beverage Testing Institute 88.

It is one of the few certified organic reposados at this price; compare it with Tres Agaves Blanco.
