A to Z Wineworks Oregon Pinot Gris 750ml

A to Z Wineworks is based in Newberg, Oregon, and was founded in 2002 by four friends: Deb and Bill Hatcher, Cheryl Francis and Sam Tannahill. The Philadelphia Inquirer notes that the winery is a certified B Corporation.

This is a statewide Oregon wine rather than a single-vineyard bottling. Grocer Hannaford's listing says dozens of Oregon vineyards go into it and calls it especially food-friendly. Wine writer Marnie Old describes it as brisk, dry and unoaked. It's 13.5% alcohol.

Distributor Badger Liquor lists lime, kiwi, orange blossom, tangerine and melon, with citrus, ripe peach, pear and quince and a clean, crisp finish. The Inquirer picks out pineapple, pear and tangerine.
