Ardbeg Heavy Vapours Special Committee Only Edition Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky 750ml

Ardbeg Heavy Vapours Special Committee Only Edition is the stronger version of Heavy Vapours, bottled at 50.2% for the Ardbeg Committee.

Ardbeg on Islay makes some of the smokiest whisky in Scotland. For Heavy Vapours, it took the purifier off its spirit still; the purifier normally sends heavier vapours back to be distilled again. Without it, the spirit is heavier and more intense: earthy and pungent, with dark chocolate, sharp peppermint, aniseed, cinnamon and menthol over deep peat smoke.

For the strongest Heavy Vapours, this is our pick. For the 46% version, choose Ardbeg Heavy Vapours; for Ardbeg's smokiest release, see Ardbeg Hypernova.

Add water a few drops at a time, and sip it slowly.

We carry it in the 750ml size, in limited quantities. It is also on our peated Scotch page. More bottles are under single malt Scotch, and the rest of our Scotch is a click away. Pick it up at our Brooklyn store or get same-day delivery across NYC.
