Bowmore 12 Year Single Malt Scotch Whisky 750ml

Bowmore 12 Year comes from the Bowmore Distillery on the shore of Loch Indaal, founded in 1779 and the oldest on Islay. It is bottled at 40%.

Bowmore still turns some of its own barley on malting floors. Its peat is gentler than its south-coast neighbours: subtle lemon and heather honey with soft smoke on the nose, then warm, rounded dark chocolate and smoke, and a long, mellow finish. Bowmore's 12 is the house style at its most balanced.
