Bowmore 18 Year Single Malt Scotch Whisky 750ml

Bowmore 18 Year is an Islay single malt from Bowmore, founded in 1779 and one of the oldest distilleries in Scotland. It is matured for eighteen years in a combination of oloroso sherry and bourbon casks.

Bowmore sits on the shore of Loch Indaal, and its peat is gentler than that of the south-coast Islay malts. The 18 is smooth and medium-bodied, with candied sugar, toffee and green apple on the nose, then smoke, spice, caramel, vanilla and espresso, and a finish of bittersweet cocoa and charred citrus peel.
