Bruichladdich Octomore 14.3 Islay Barley Single Malt Scotch Whisky 750ml

Bruichladdich Octomore 14.3 is the Islay barley bottling of the Octomore 14 series. It is distilled from barley grown on Islay just a couple of miles from the distillery and bottled at 61.4%.

The .3 releases in each Octomore edition show off Islay-grown barley. This one was matured in first-fill American whiskey casks and second-fill wine casks, giving hot sweet mash, biscuity malt and smouldering peat with apricot, peach and honeyed pear, then candied lemon, butterscotch, honeycomb, creamy porridge and a long, smoky finish.
