The agave is slow-cooked and double distilled, then the tequila is aged about six months in new American oak barrels.
Expect strawberry and raspberry on the nose with cooked agave, vanilla, caramel and toasted oak. The palate brings honeyed agave, pepper, ginger and butterscotch, with a clean finish. Wine Enthusiast's Kara Newman gives it 92 points and calls it one of the most fruit-forward tequilas around.
