Hornitos Reposado Tequila

Hornitos Reposado is a 100% blue agave tequila from the town of Tequila in Jalisco, Mexico, aged in oak and bottled at 40% alcohol. We carry it in 750ml, 1L and 1.75L sizes.

Hornitos was created in 1950 by Don Francisco Javier Sauza and is owned by Suntory Global Spirits; it is made at NOM 1102. The agave juice is extracted with a diffuser, cooked in an autoclave and distilled twice, then rested at least two months in large American oak vats, which keeps the wood light.

Hornitos describes agave, herbal and green apple aromas, a balanced palate of apple and herbs, and a slightly woody, warm finish. Wine Enthusiast (Kara Newman) gives it 88 points for its mild, pear-like aroma.
