Summer Water Rose Central Coast 750ml

Summer Water was founded in 2015 and acquired by Amass Brands Group in 2023, with Alexandra Savona as CEO. The winemaker is Ryan Zotovich, who previously worked at Sea Smoke, Brewer Clifton and Palmina.

The grapes come from Central Coast vineyards between Monterey and Santa Barbara and are picked early to keep their natural acidity. A distributor lists the 2025 as 85% Grenache and 15% Syrah, the same blend as the 2023. It's made by direct press, with many small fermentations in stainless steel, each handled separately, and finished with no residual sugar. It's sealed with a screw cap.

The brand calls it dry and sugar free, with grapefruit, watermelon and lemon zest. For the 2025, the distributor lists strawberry, pink grapefruit and white peach.

Against Whispering Angel, Summer Water is a California rosé of Grenache and Syrah that costs less; for a dry American pink, choose Summer Water.

Serve it chilled. The distributor suggests fish tacos, shellfish, ceviche and salads.
