VieVité is made by Domaine Sainte-Marie in Bormes-les-Mimosas, about 40 hectares in the Massif des Maures near Saint-Tropez. Christopher Duburcq, who has run the domaine with Dominique Duburcq since 2007, is VieVité's head winemaker. The estate was an 18th-century dependency of the Chartreuse de la Verne, named for a statue of the Virgin raised after an 1884 cholera epidemic stopped at its gates.
It's a Côtes de Provence AOP rosé made from Cinsault, Grenache, Syrah and Carignan; the 2025 percentages and pressing method aren't published. Hachette and Rue des Vignerons list the domaine as organic, though the VieVité label itself isn't confirmed as certified. It's 13% alcohol.
The winemaker's notes describe a pale pink with coral hues, with cherry, strawberry and spice alongside peach and apricot.
Against Maison Saint Aix AIX Rosé 2025, VieVité is the coastal Côtes de Provence rosé from near Saint-Tropez and costs a little less; for a Côtes de Provence bottle, choose VieVité.
Serve it well chilled. The winemaker suggests seafood and Mediterranean food, such as grilled fish or bouillabaisse.
