Rare Breed Rye goes into the bottle exactly as it comes out of the barrel: no water added and no chill filtering. Wild Turkey blends rye whiskeys aged four, six and eight years, and the proof shifts a little from batch to batch; this one is 112.2.

It joined Wild Turkey's permanent lineup in 2020 as the rye partner to Rare Breed bourbon. Caramel and baked apple open it, then honey, vanilla, rye spice and charred oak, and the warmth stays with you for a long time. A few drops of water bring out orange and ginger.
