Balvenie 16 Year French Oak Single Malt Scotch Whisky 750ml

The Balvenie 16 Year French Oak is finished in casks that held Pineau des Charentes, a sweet French aperitif made from grape juice and young Cognac. It is bottled at 47.6%.

The French oak finish gives a vibrant, fruity Speyside malt with honey, vanilla and summer fruit, a little spice, and a long, smooth finish. Balvenie still grows some of its own barley and makes its own casks at the distillery in Dufftown.
