Highland Park 25 Year is an Orkney single malt matured for a quarter of a century, largely in sherry-seasoned oak casks.

Highland Park has made whisky in Kirkwall, Orkney, since 1798, still turning some of its own malt on traditional floors and drying it over Orkney peat, which gives a gentle, heathery smoke. Twenty-five years in oak make it dark and full-bodied, with a rich, nutty spiciness, sweet dried fruit, cinder toffee and soft fudge, a gentle wisp of heathery smoke and a surprisingly vibrant sweetness that carries through a long finish. It is one of the most celebrated old island malts.
