House Wine Cabernet Sauvignon 3L Box

House Wine was created in 2004 by Washington winemaker Charles Smith, and Precept Wine of Seattle has sold it since 2010. The 3L box holds the same as four 750ml bottles.

The brand built its following on easy, fruit-forward reds, and the box format took off fast: sales grew from about 6,000 cases in 2013 to around 100,000 the next year. The bag inside the box keeps the wine fresh for weeks after you open the tap, so you can pour a glass at a time.

Retailers describe juicy raspberry and strawberry, a hint of black pepper, ripe plum and soft tannins, with light oak.
