Jack Daniel's Twice Barreled Heritage Barrel Rye Whiskey Special Release 2023 700ml

This was Jack Daniel's 2023 Special Release: Tennessee rye made from 70% rye, 18% corn and 12% malted barley, charcoal mellowed the Jack Daniel's way, then aged twice.

It spent at least five years in new American white oak, then more than two years in heavy-toast Heritage Barrels from the Jack Daniel Cooperage. The second barrel adds a toasted-bread sweetness without more char. Toasted oak, light spice and honey on the nose; oak and vanilla with toasted rye bread and molasses on the palate; graham cracker and brown sugar at the finish. It's bottled at 100 proof in the 700ml size Jack Daniel's uses for its special releases.
