Hakushu 18 Year Peated Malt Japanese Whisky 2025 Edition 700ml

The 2025 edition of Hakushu 18 Peated Malt follows the 2023 centenary and 2024 Tsukuriwake bottlings: peated malt whiskies aged at least 18 years, from Suntory's forest distillery in the Southern Japanese Alps, bottled at 48%.

Hakushu's smoke is always the gentle kind, folded into the distillery's green, herbal style rather than laid on top. Each edition differs a little, since the blenders vary the recipe from year to year, and there's only so much of each to go round. It's a bottle for the Hakushu collector.

Pour it neat, slightly cool, and give it a few minutes.
