Auchentoshan 12 Year Single Malt Scotch Whisky 750ml

Auchentoshan 12 Year is a Lowland single malt from the Auchentoshan Distillery near Glasgow, one of the few in Scotland to triple distil all its spirit. It is matured for over twelve years in bourbon and oloroso sherry casks and bottled at 40%.

Triple distillation gives a light, smooth spirit. It shows crème brûlée, citrus and toasted almond on the nose, then vanilla, oak, cinnamon and dried apricot, with mocha and hazelnut when water is added. The finish is gentle with a touch of ginger.
