BACA Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2023 750ml

BACA is the HALL family's next-generation label, launched in 2018 and led by Jennifer Brown, Craig and Kathryn Hall's daughter. It's best known for single-vineyard Zinfandel; this Napa Valley Cabernet is its everyday Cab.

The wine is made at HALL's St. Helena winery from estate and partner vineyards across Napa Valley. BACA gives it shorter oak aging than its other Cabernets, so it's ready young. The 2023 season started with a wet winter and a cool spring, then a mild summer gave the grapes a long hang time.

The winery describes dense violet color, ripe cassis, lavender and warm blackberry pastry, with dense briar fruit and fine, accessible tannins.
