Francis Coppola Diamond Collection Shimmer Sauvignon Blanc Pinot Grigio California 750ml

Shimmer comes from Francis Ford Coppola Winery in Geyserville, California, which is owned by Delicato Family Wines. It joined the winery's Diamond Collection in spring 2025, launched at a $15 suggested price.

It's a blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Grigio from select vineyards in California's cooler regions; the winery doesn't publish the percentages. The grapes are harvested at night, gently pressed and cool-fermented, and the wine is made in stainless steel only, with no oak. It's 11% alcohol.

The winery describes aromas of honeydew, pineapple and white flowers, flavors of lemongrass, tangerine and white peach, and a crisp, lively style.

Against Josh Cellars Seaswept, Shimmer is the same pairing of grapes at 11% alcohol and $2 less; for a light, unoaked white blend, choose Shimmer.

Serve it chilled. Kroger suggests light appetizers and seafood, and it also suits salads and sushi.
