Côté Mas Orange Vin de France 2025 is a dry orange (skin-contact) wine from the south of France, bottled at 13% alcohol in a 1-liter bottle with a screw cap.
It is made by Paul Mas from 55% Grenache Blanc, 25% Grenache Gris and 20% Macabeu. The grapes are picked at night and given six to eight days on their skins at controlled temperatures, which gives the wine its orange color and gentle texture.
Look for a soft orange color with copper tints, citrus, peach, white flowers and candied fruit on the nose, then tangerine, spice and a creamy mid-palate with crisp acidity and a juicy finish.
If you are new to orange wine, this is an easy, fruit-forward place to start: fresher and less tannic than many skin-contact wines.
Serve it lightly chilled with Mediterranean dishes, grilled vegetables, seafood, roast chicken or mildly spiced food.
