Kavalan Oloroso Sherry Oak takes the same whisky as its famous cask-strength Solist Oloroso and brings it down to 46% with Kavalan's own spring water. The Taiwanese distillery is in Yilan, where the heat matures whisky quickly.

Every drop has been aged in oloroso sherry casks, and it shows. It's clean and complex, with layers of dried fruit, nuts and spice, and touches of marzipan and vanilla on a long, rich finish. It's bottled at 46%.
