The Macallan 18 Year Sherry Oak is matured for eighteen years only in oak casks seasoned with oloroso sherry in Jerez, Spain, and bottled at 43%.

The spirit stays in the same casks for the full eighteen years. The result is rich and complex, with mature oak, ginger, raisin and dried fruit, orange and spice, and a full, viscous body that balances the oak's tannins. It is one of the most admired sherried malts in Scotland.
