Perrier-Jouet Belle Epoque Brut 2016 Set with 2 Flutes 750ml

Belle Epoque is Perrier-Jouët's prestige vintage, the Champagne in the bottle painted with anemones. This set pairs the 2016 with two flutes, which makes it a ready-made gift.

The 2016 is 50% Chardonnay, 45% Pinot Noir and 5% Meunier, drawn from the house's emblematic crus including Cramant, Avize, Chouilly, Le Mesnil-sur-Oger and Mailly. It aged at least six years in the Épernay cellars and has a Brut dosage of 8 grams per liter. Séverine Frerson is the cellar master.

The house describes a golden color, floral freshness that moves to poached pear and lemon and orange zest, then a precise, fresh palate with minerality and a silky texture.

Compared with the house's Grand Brut, Belle Epoque is a single-year, Chardonnay-led wine with far more depth; for a celebration gift, choose this set.

Perrier-Jouët suggests about 12°C with a meal or 8 to 10°C as an aperitif, with sea bass, lobster, sole or quail. The house says it is ready now and will age well.
