There is Champagne from Moët & Chandon, Veuve Clicquot, Billecart-Salmon and Nicolas Feuillatte; red Bordeaux; Burgundy Pinot Noir and Chardonnay; Sancerre and other Loire Sauvignon Blanc; Côtes du Rhône and Châteauneuf-du-Pape; and Provence rosé such as Whispering Angel, Côte des Roses and Mirabeau.
Tip: French labels usually name the place, not the grape. Sancerre is Sauvignon Blanc, red Burgundy is Pinot Noir, white Burgundy is Chardonnay, and Côtes du Rhône is mostly Grenache and Syrah.
